First off we hope to provide every customer with a positive shopping experience. We always do our best to make sure that we only send out clean authentic Lego pieces and products. Every used piece goes through several inspections from when it is initially sorted, to when it is washed, then through at least 2 more sorting’s as we break them all down to their group then their color. We also try hard not to sell any cracked, chipped, or badly damaged pieces. Still, it is possible that something may get missed and makes it to the customer. Our goal is to not let this happen, but should it, we would appreciate the customer contacting us for either a refund on that piece or a replacement, should we have one.
Why Should You Buy Here?
We ship faster! Orders typically ship same or next business day after payment! However, our shipping policy is to ship within 3 days, just in case inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances makes it impossible to ship that fast. Our goal is to get your shipment to you as soon as possible - we don't like waiting for our orders either
NEW MEANS NEW! Only brand NEW items from Lego 'Pick A Brick' walls or from never played with sets. NO USED PARTS BEING PASSED AS NEW. USED LEGO is washed before we sort it.
No lot limits! No lot fees! Buy as much or as little as you need.
No Hidden Fees. Orders over $10 in items have NO FEES other than the shipping cost (See Shipping Policy Below). Orders between under 9.99 (USD) have a $1 Fee. These fees help to cover PayPal fees on lower end transactions since PP fees can be a bit high.
No minimum order. However: in order to allow micro orders without losing money (Boxes, Bags, envelopes, labels, Ink, Bubble Mailers, labor...) we do charge a $1 fee for orders under $9.99. Again - orders with $10 or more in items have NO Fees - Just shipping cost.
Selection saves money - A huge selection means you can get more items from one store and save on shipping.
FAIR PRICING- We price based the average price an item has sold in the past six months, sometimes for even less than that. Price is determined on the demand for that item (example; tiles are in more demand than slopes) Keep in mind that many stores charge low item price but have high fees which makes them look more appealing but you pay more in the end - This is not true with us. Periodically we will go through and update our prices to keep them fair for our buyers.
CLEAN! We wash our used Legos and we are non-smokers, there is no smoking anywhere near us or near the bricks, we do not reuse zip bags for orders, all recycled bags are used 'in house'. All minifigs and what we consider 'special', fragile, or expensive items are bagged individually to help protect them (minifigs may be bagged with their accessories and/or stands if we are selling them with those). Other parts and pieces will be bagged in a sensible way, without overcrowding. New items will only be bagged with new items, and used with used (unless otherwise requested to merge), we do not mixed new and used inventory in our storage or in our shipment. All of our inventory is carefully inspected and stored safely to keep it in the best condition possible.
If you wish to have all of your Lego condensed into as few bags as possible, you must request this. If you wish for each lot to be bagged individually, send a request before ordering - additional fees apply for extra bag usage, and we will not bag lots individually unless paid for the extra bags in advance. However, if a lot is over 20 items or is to large to fit with other items in a bag, those may be bagged separatly. We do try to limit how many lots are packed together in a bag, and we try to pack like items together whenever possible to making finding your pieces easier.
Sales
We all love a good deal. Although we try to price fairly when setting our prices, we like to run sales... pretty much all of the time. Not everything will be on sale, but the more or less common items are typically on sale to help give you that little break in buying what you need to build or complete sets. This is our way of saying, Thank you for choosing to shop with us!
Inventory
Our goal is to create and maintain a good variety of items, both new and used. Whenever possible we stock up to make it possible for those who need quantity to find it. It pleases us greatly when we get reviews showing a customer found everything they needed in one place - after all, that is how we like to shop as well because it saves money.
Color shades
Sometimes LEGO's bricks come with very little difference in shades within the same color- that is beyond our control and just like any other store; we can't separate what we can barely see- remember that these have passed LEGO's rigorous quality control and deemed fit to be in their sets and stores- we won't send you a pink brick if you ordered red. This also is true with the thickness of the lego, like with bricks. Some will have thicker walls and some with thinner. If Brick Owl doesn't have these specified as different bricks they won't be separate in our inventory. This holds true to other things Brick Owl has condensed into 1 listing, like differences in pins under the brick. Typically these differences are specified in the product listing.
Packing
We try our best to pack so you can easily find your items. Unless requested, items of less than 20ish will be combined with other low count items in smallish groups, trying to keep similar type and sized items together. Items that have a count of around 20 or more, will recieve their own separate bag. Of course, you may request items to be packed in as few bags as possible, but for the average shopper, our goal is to keep finding things as simple as possible, but also not to send too many bags. All bags sent are brand new, not recycled. We used any recycled bags for other needs in our business. Bags are only thrown away when they are completely ruined.
SETS
WE ARE NOT RESPOSIBLE FOR SET BOXES DAMAGED IN TRANSIT- INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE TO SET BOX ONLY DAMAGE TO PIECES OR UNDELIVERED PACKAGES.
IF YOU WISH TO RETURN THE SET BECAUSE THE BOX IS DAMAGED THEN YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING BACK +35% RESTOCKING FEE (35% of the set value- we do not refund shipping. SET MUST REMAIN UNOPENED.
Every effort is made to ship each and every item we send as safely as possible so it arrives to you in the best condition possible. We spare no expense to make sure that your experience with us is a pleasant one with emphasis on communication, cleanliness, speed and accuracy.
REACH
Currently, we are only selling to the United States and Canada as we are not yet set up to cater to sales outside of the country. As we grow, this may change.
SHIPPING
We will not sell anything on this platform off of this platform. All sales must be made through Brick Owl. However, should you live near us and want to pick up an order, we would be happy to arrange that with you - the order must be paid for first, shipping will be refunded AFTER the order is picked up. We ask that you pick up your order within 7 days of payment. An order will not be available for pick up until AFTER it is paid for and we ask that you give us the 3 day window to fill it, especially if it is a larger order.
We will do our best to ensure that your order is packed in a safe and logical manner, depending on what is order. Most orders go out in bubble mailers, but if it is a larger order or an order that would probably get damaged in a bubble mailer, we will ship it out in a box. Again, we will determine that, but on the order, feel free to let us know if you perfer a box over a bubble mailer.
Buyers have 40 Days from the purchase date to report a missing package to ask for a refund. USPS WILL NOT investigate until 30 days have passed and cut off any insurance to cover the missing package after 60 days. Please work with us should your package not arrive once 30 days have come to pass.
Payment
We now accept Paypal, credit, and debit cards.
Cancellations
We cannot cancel paid orders once we start processing them. We do this quickly sometimes. Cancelations costs us in wages to those working on the orders, and PayPal doesn't refund fees. If you choose to cancel immediatly after payment, if we have not already shipped the order (since we try to send out orders by the following business day whenever possible), the only 'penatly' is that we will have to subtract the Paypal fees associated with the order. Paypal charges both on money recieved and the refund. We feel this is the most fair solution to the cancelation.
Returned and unclaimed orders: Orders that have returned to us because buyer didn't claim or provided wrong shipping address or any mistake that wasn't caused by the seller - will be re-shipped at buyer's expense OR will be refunded minus shipping cost, Paypal fees and minus 35% re-stocking fee +$2 PER LOT RETURNED! ! ! ! LOTS MUST BE SEPERATED BEFORE RETURNING AND ARRIVE IN THE SAME CONDITION SENT (NEW must still be Brand New, or used in great condition, they must have NO SMOKE SMELLS, or ANIMAL HAIR)
Returns will be accepted under the above conditions as long as they were shipped to us (postmarked) within 7 days of arriving to buyer and we notified ahead of time via Brick Owl's messaging system.
We charge a high re-stocking fee (20%) because we still have to pay Fees to Brick Owl & the financial institute used to process the payment, and restocking the items is time consuming which costs us in labor. A item returned, whether by choice or because of a bad address, will only be refunded the cost of the item minus fees, as it does cost us time and money (Money in fees to the financial institute and to Brick Owl).
An item with a faulty address can be reshipped if the buyer provides an updated address and agrees to be invoiced for the additional shipping, and pays it.
Feedback
You must either change order status to complete and leave a positive feedback and we'll reciprocate. We try to address these daily whenever possible. "OR" Write us a message that we missed leaving you a feedback and we'll make sure to do so.
The terms and policies of this store will be updated as time goes on to better serve the customer and our business as we grow and find the need.
